Nighty Night Sailboat Series

The Nighty Night Sailboat series tells about a little girl named Juni, who travels from port-to-port with her parents. It is actually about my granddaughter, Juniper, who has never actually been on our boat, JonNe’. I bring my sailing adventures to her and to your children through the Nighty Night Sailboat books. It is a fun and educational book for your children to teach them about sailing terminology, geography, poetry and coloring pages. All books are $15.00.

Renne' Siewers Bio Sketch

Renne’ Siewers won third place award-winning poetry “The Fear”, Voyage to Remember 1998, and recently first place short story contest 2017 from Texas Authors called “Swish, Swish – The Mistake” African American Genre. She has multiple articles published in magazines about her sailing adventures.

Aerospace History:

Renne’ is a professional auditor with twenty years of progressive experience in the aerospace industry as a Hardware/Software Auditor and a Process Expert. This includes the development and implementation of the Safety Quality & Mission Assurance Flight Crew Equipment/Extravehicular Activity (auditing everything the astronaut takes in space – 15 laboratories including the Neutral Buoyancy Lab) and Flight Software Quality Assurance Program (did the final six flight audits for NASA signoff for the Onboard Shuttle Software – all the software that operated the Space Shuttle) for the Flight Software Space Shuttle and International Space Station. Retired after 36 continuous years of service with IBM, Loral, Lockheed Martin and United Space Alliance.

BS in Business Management, Our Lady of the Lake University, San Antonio, Texas

Sailing:

Renne' has owner her own sailboat since 1990. Her first sailboat name La Dulce Vida she sailed every weekend on the Galveston. She and her husband Jon own a 42 foot cutter rig center cockpit Tayana which they sailed throughout The Bahamas, Cuba and up the East Coast. Amazing adventures.
